Thursday 18th April 2013 – Garden Afternoon

Today Year 3 ventured outside for another gardening afternoon. Fortunately, Miss Pearmain and Mr Fickling had worked hard to assemble two of the beds so we could start planting.

We had lots of jobs to do and they included:
Re-potting 100 plants (Yes 100!)
Soil sorting (Taking all the stones out!)
Willow arch preparing
Planting lots of plants like herbs, flowers and vegetables!

It was a very busy afternoon but extremely fun – I hope everyone in Year 3 agrees!

Below there are a few pictures of the afternoon and how the garden as a result of a lot of hard work!
